About Alan Lenk
I have enjoyed roaming the mountains of western North Carolina for over 30 years in search of interesting nature images to capture on 'film'. Beyond NC, photo adventures have led me to several other states and foreign countries. Photographing beautiful landscapes, plants, and animals, and preserving them for others to enjoy brings a true sense of satisfaction. When an image is able to evoke a level of emotion from the viewer , the photographer has accomplished a special connection. I believe that carrying a camera along on just about any outdoor activity makes it more fun, and who knows what wonderful subject might await you.
